Questions from SMBs and decision-makers

What is Vetera.pro and what does it do?

Vetera.pro is a talent matching platform that connects small and medium businesses with senior professionals — typically 50+ years old with 20 or more years of experience — who have already solved the exact challenge the company is facing today.

The platform is not a job board, a recruiter, or a CV database. It is a precision tool: a company describes its problem in plain language, and the platform surfaces 3 to 6 expert profiles whose documented achievements match that problem, using the PAR (Problem-Action-Result) method.

How do I find an expert on Vetera.pro?

You start by describing your business challenge to the Expert Digital Assistant — in natural language, as you would describe it to a colleague. You do not need to know the right job title or specialty. The assistant asks at most one clarifying question, then runs the matching.

You receive between 3 and 6 matched expert profiles. Each profile shows the expert's PAR cases (documented achievements), their engagement type, availability, approximate rate range, and functional specialty. You can save up to 3 profiles to a shortlist for comparison before deciding to pay.

How much does it cost to use Vetera.pro?

Searching, matching, and reviewing profiles is entirely free. You only pay when you decide to unlock direct contact with a specific expert.

The unlock price is 55 EUR per profile. A VAT-compliant B2B invoice is generated automatically for each transaction. There are no subscriptions, bundles, or hidden fees in the current version of the platform.

What is the PAR method and why does it matter?

PAR stands for Problem-Action-Result. It is the structured format that every expert on Vetera uses to document their real professional achievements.

Instead of listing job titles ("Sales Director at Company X, 2010–2016"), a PAR case describes a specific situation: what the business problem was, what the expert did about it, and what measurable result followed. This makes it possible to match a company's described challenge against documented situations experts have already solved — and for companies to evaluate an expert's relevance without having to assume anything from credentials alone.

What happens after I unlock an expert's contact details?

After payment, you receive the expert's full name, email address, phone number, and LinkedIn profile. Vetera also provides a suggested introductory message template you can copy and send directly.

The expert is notified immediately that their profile has been unlocked. They have 48 to 72 hours to respond. If they do not respond within that window — or if they decline due to unavailability — Vetera automatically issues a Vetera Credit of 55 EUR to your account, so you can unlock the next expert at no additional cost.

What guarantee does Vetera offer?

Vetera offers a response-or-credit guarantee on every unlock. If an expert does not respond within 48 to 72 hours, or declines the contact request, a Vetera Credit worth 55 EUR is automatically added to your account — no request or complaint needed.

The credit allows you to unlock one additional expert profile at no cost. It is displayed in your company dashboard and changes the unlock CTA to "Use 1 Vetera Credit."

How is Vetera.pro different from LinkedIn, a job board, or a recruiter?

LinkedIn requires you to know what you are looking for, search manually, interpret CVs, and initiate contact without any signal that the person is relevant to your specific situation. Response rates are low and there is no guarantee of relevance.

Recruitment agencies work on permanent placements, charge 15–25% of annual salary, and create a structural commitment the company may not need for the challenge at hand.

Job boards accept any application and produce volume without precision.

Vetera is different in three ways: you describe your problem and the platform finds the match; experts are evaluated by documented PAR achievements rather than CV credentials; and you pay a flat 55 EUR for one conversation, with no percentage fees, no long processes, and no employment commitment implied.

Do I have to hire the expert permanently after unlocking?

No. Unlocking a profile gives you the right to initiate a direct conversation with the expert. There is no hiring commitment, no exclusivity, and no platform fee on any arrangement you reach with the expert. The terms of engagement — duration, scope, compensation, modality — are agreed between you and the expert directly.

Can I see contact details before paying?

No. Before unlocking, profiles are anonymised: you see a partial name (e.g. "Carlos M."), the expert's functional specialty, their PAR cases, engagement type, availability, and approximate rate range. Full name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, exact employer history, and photo are revealed only after the 55 EUR unlock payment.

This protects the expert's identity and ensures that the contact details retain meaningful value — you are paying for the right to start a strategic conversation, not for raw data.

Questions from experts and mentors

Who can join Vetera.pro as an expert?

Any professional with 20 or more years of meaningful work experience — typically 50 years of age or older — who has led teams, managed results, resolved business crises, or built something of measurable value. The platform is open to professionals from all functional areas: sales, operations, finance, technology, HR, marketing, international expansion, and others.

You do not need to be a freelancer or consultant already. Vetera helps you structure and present your experience as a value offer to companies, regardless of your current employment status.

Is it free to create a profile on Vetera.pro?

Yes, entirely free. There are no subscription fees, no listing fees, and no commission charged to experts when a company unlocks their profile. Profile creation is done through the Expert Digital Assistant, which conducts a structured conversational interview to build your PAR-based profile.

How will companies find me on Vetera?

Companies do not browse profiles manually. They describe their business problem, and Vetera's matching engine finds the profiles most relevant to that problem — based on the PAR cases in your profile, your functional area, sectors, and engagement type. The more specific and well-documented your PAR cases are, the more precisely you will be matched with relevant companies.

Your profile is anonymised before a company pays: they see your PAR cases and specialty, not your identity. You will be notified when your profile is unlocked.

What types of engagement can I offer on Vetera?

You can offer any or all of the following:

  • Mentoring — periodic strategic guidance sessions with a company's leadership
  • Project-based consulting — defined-scope engagements of 10 days to 2 months with a clear deliverable
  • Interim management — taking operational command of a critical area for a defined period, with real decision-making authority
  • Flash consulting — concentrated 60–90 minute sessions to resolve a specific question or validate a decision

You specify which formats you are open to in your profile, along with your availability, preferred modality (remote, hybrid, onsite), and approximate rate range.

How does the anonymisation work on my profile?

Before a company unlocks your profile, they see only a partial name (first name and initial of your surname), your functional specialty, and your PAR cases. Your full name, email, phone number, LinkedIn URL, exact employer names, and photo are hidden.

Additionally, if the combination of your city, sector, and role would make you easily identifiable on LinkedIn, the platform abstracts your location to a region or country level. After a company pays 55 EUR to unlock your profile, all information is revealed to them.

You gave explicit consent for this disclosure at the time of registration, in accordance with GDPR.

What happens when a company unlocks my profile?

You receive an immediate notification that a company has unlocked your profile and wants to start a conversation. You will see the company's name, the name of the contact person, a description of the business problem they are trying to solve, and the date of the unlock.

You have 48 to 72 hours to respond. You can accept the contact (in which case the conversation begins) or decline due to availability. If you do not respond within the window, Vetera issues the company a credit and your profile may be temporarily de-prioritised in searches until you confirm your availability.

Can I pause my profile if I am not available?

Yes. You can pause your profile at any time from your dashboard. Paused profiles do not appear in search results but retain all their data for reactivation when you are ready again. Vetera also sends a simple availability confirmation every 30 days — if you confirm, your profile stays active; if you do not respond, your profile is temporarily hidden from search results.

Platform and technical questions

What is the Expert Digital Assistant?

The Expert Digital Assistant is the AI-powered conversational interface at the heart of Vetera. For companies, it guides them through describing their business challenge and runs the matching. For senior professionals, it conducts a structured interview to build their PAR-based profile — asking one question at a time, translating their career into documented achievement cases without feeling like a form-filling exercise. The whole onboarding process typically takes under 30 minutes.

In what languages is Vetera.pro available?

The Vetera.pro platform and corporate website are available in Spanish and English. The Expert Digital Assistant operates in both languages. Profiles can be created in either language, and companies can search in either language.

Does Vetera.pro work for hiring permanent employees?

No. Vetera.pro is designed exclusively for flexible, defined engagements — mentoring, project consulting, interim management, and advisory work. It is not a recruitment tool and is not designed for permanent hires. If you are looking to make a permanent hire, you should use traditional recruitment channels.

How do I delete my account and data?

Both companies and experts can request full deletion of their account and all associated data at any time, directly from the platform settings or by contacting info@vetera.pro. Vetera processes all deletion requests in accordance with GDPR.

How do I contact Vetera.pro for partnerships or other enquiries?

You can reach the Vetera team at info@vetera.pro. For platform access — finding an expert or creating an expert profile — please use the digital assistant inside the platform at app.vetera.pro.
