Finding the Right Expert

You describe your challenge. The platform finds who has already solved it. You review the evidence. You pay only when you decide it merits a conversation.

1
Entry

Describe your challenge in plain language

Open the Expert Digital Assistant on the platform and describe what is happening in your business — in your own words, as you would to a trusted colleague. You do not need to know the right job title to search for. You do not need to fill out a form.

The assistant may ask one clarifying question — about the main area affected (sales, operations, team, expansion), the type of help you need (diagnosis, guidance, execution), or urgency. That is the maximum. The whole description takes about 5 minutes.

If you are not sure how to frame your challenge, you can select from examples or ask for help framing it. No one is penalised for describing a problem imperfectly.

2
Matching

Receive 3 to 6 matched expert profiles

Vetera's matching engine compares your problem description against documented PAR cases in its expert database. It prioritises profiles where the overlap between your described challenge and an expert's documented situations is strongest — not the profiles with the most impressive titles or the most years listed on their CV.

Each profile shows:

  • A partial name and functional specialty
  • 1 to 2 PAR cases (Problem-Action-Result) most relevant to your challenge
  • Type of engagement offered (mentoring, project, interim, flash consulting)
  • Level of involvement (strategic, implementation, mixed)
  • Availability, modality (remote/hybrid/on-site), and approximate rate range
  • Sectors and functional areas

If the system cannot find sufficiently strong matches, it activates the Concierge Mode — a human-assisted selection process — rather than showing you weak results.

3
Evaluation

Open blind profiles and build a shortlist

Click on any result to open the full blind profile, which shows two PAR cases in detail, the expert's approach to working, their sector and functional background, and their proposed Value Sprint — a specific intervention with a defined deliverable and estimated duration.

You can save up to 3 profiles to your shortlist for side-by-side comparison. The shortlist is your decision table — it is designed to feel like an executive evaluation, not a shopping cart. A "one in, one out" rule applies: adding a fourth profile requires removing one, which forces prioritisation.

4
Unlock

Pay 55 EUR to unlock direct contact

When a profile merits a conversation, click "Initiate direct conversation." A clean overlay shows the three reasons the unlock is worth it (direct contact, sufficient evidence from the PAR cases, the Vetera guarantee), plus the 55 EUR price and the payment form.

Upon payment:

  • The expert's full name, email, phone number, and LinkedIn profile are revealed
  • Their exact employer history becomes visible
  • A VAT-compliant B2B invoice is sent automatically to your registered email
  • The expert is notified immediately and has 48–72 hours to respond
  • A suggested introductory message template is made available for you to copy
5
Contact

Start the conversation directly — no intermediaries

You contact the expert directly via email, phone, or LinkedIn. Vetera does not sit in the middle of the conversation. The terms of any engagement — scope, duration, compensation, modality — are negotiated directly between you and the expert. Vetera charges no commission or percentage on any arrangement you reach.

If you unlock a profile and do not contact the expert within 3 days, Vetera sends a gentle reminder with the copy template to help you get started.

Building Your Expert Profile

The onboarding process is conversational — one question at a time. It takes about 30 minutes and turns your career into a structured, evidence-based profile that companies can understand and act on.

1
Registration

Create a free account and give consent

Register at app.vetera.pro. During registration, you give explicit consent — in accordance with GDPR — for Vetera to share your full contact details with companies that pay to unlock your profile. This consent is collected once, at registration, and does not need to be repeated during profile building.

Profile creation is entirely free. There are no listing fees or subscription costs for experts.

2
Phase 1

Provide your professional baseline

The Expert Digital Assistant asks about your professional background. You can paste your CV, paste your LinkedIn URL, or answer a small number of direct questions. The assistant captures your current or most recent role, years of experience, main sectors worked in, and main functional areas of strength.

This phase takes about 10 minutes and creates the baseline from which the rest of the profile is built.

3
Phase 2

Document 2 to 3 PAR achievement cases

This is the core of the profile. The assistant guides you through articulating 2 to 3 real professional situations — one at a time — using the PAR format:

  • Problem — the specific business challenge or constraint you faced, in concrete terms
  • Action — the decisions and interventions you made, the approach you chose, what you changed and why
  • Result — the measurable outcome: revenue recovered, time saved, market entered, team restructured

The assistant may also ask about a "trap avoided" — a common mistake that less experienced professionals make in the same situation that you navigated differently. This optional element strengthens the case.

Each case is proposed by the assistant as a draft for your review. You validate, adjust, or reject before it is saved. Nothing is published without your confirmation.

4
Phase 3

Set your skills, logistics, and engagement preferences

Specify the details that help companies filter and understand how you work:

  • Engagement types — mentoring, project consulting, interim management, flash consulting (any combination)
  • Level of involvement — strategic only, implementation, or mixed
  • Availability — immediate, in 2 weeks, or in 1 month or more
  • Modality — remote, hybrid, or on-site
  • Weekly capacity — approximate hours per week available
  • Rate range — approximate daily or monthly rate range (orientative, not binding)
  • Languages — languages you work in professionally
  • Hard skills and tools — specific methodologies, platforms, or systems you have worked with
5
Phase 4

Define your Value Sprint (optional but recommended)

A Value Sprint is a concrete, defined offer: a specific intervention with a clear title, a tangible deliverable, and an estimated duration. For example: "Diagnostic and commercial roadmap — review of the sales process, identification of the 3 main blockers, and a written action plan — 10 working days."

This translates your expertise into something a company can immediately visualise purchasing. It is the most actionable element of your profile and tends to increase unlock rates.

6
Publish

Review, validate, and go live

The assistant presents the complete structured profile for your review. You read through it, confirm it represents you accurately, and publish. Your profile enters the matching pool and can surface in company searches from that moment.

Your identity remains anonymised (partial name, no employer names, no contact details) until a company pays to unlock it. You are notified whenever your profile is saved to a shortlist or unlocked.

Simple, Transparent Pricing

No subscriptions. No hidden fees. No percentage commissions. You only pay when you decide a conversation is worth having.

Response Guarantee — or a Vetera Credit

When a company unlocks a profile, the expert has 48 to 72 hours to respond. If the expert does not respond within that window — or declines the contact due to unavailability — Vetera automatically issues a Vetera Credit worth 55 EUR to the company's account. This credit can be used immediately to unlock the next expert. No request or complaint is needed. The credit appears in the company dashboard and changes the unlock CTA to "Use 1 Vetera Credit."

How Profiles Are Ranked and Surfaced

Vetera does not surface "the most famous" or "the most senior" professionals. It surfaces the most pertinent ones for the problem described.

Signals that weigh heavily

  • Match between the company's problem and the type of problem documented in the expert's PAR cases
  • Sector or business context similarity
  • Engagement type compatibility
  • Seniority and positioning relative to the challenge
  • Availability and rate range compatibility

Signals that weigh lightly

  • Years of experience as a number alone
  • Generic skill lists without an associated PAR case
  • Prestigious-sounding titles without documented results
  • Number of connections or social signals

Within each matched profile, the most relevant PAR case for the company's specific problem is shown first. If a different case is more relevant to a different company's search, that case is surfaced first for them — the order of PAR cases is dynamic, not fixed.

The platform aims to show between 3 and 6 profiles per search: few and strong, rather than many and mediocre.
